Love is a universal language that human being understands. But what is love, really? According to a simple definition in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, love is:
a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person
:
attraction that includes sexual desire : the strong affection felt by
people who have a romantic relationship
:
a person you love in a romantic way
From the above definition we can see that love is a strong feeling or constant affection for the other person. Love has been a hotly debated topic over the centuries of human existence. Throughout the millennia, the religious community has argued that love comes from God and it was him who loved us first. It was love that caused this great Supreme Being to create the universe and everything in it, including life. But science had dismissed those mythological claims and showed that love is simply chemicals in the human brain. Whatever explanations of love, love still remains a beautiful thing to be treasured. Two reasons being, love is like oxygen, it helps us to thrive and the other being that love fights off vices and enables continuation of the human race.
