It is not an attitude or some emotion, but a way of life for the masses of white folks. Yet, some naive folks, especially African Americans ( Hebrew Israelites and Indigenous Black American Indian cults) believe that a white supremacist named Adolf Hitler was a friend of Africans globally.
It's the lack of education which fuels this miseducation. Hitler believed in the "Herrenvolk" - a concept of "Nordic or Aryan races, predominant among Germans and other northern European peoples, are deemed the highest in racial hierarchy" - "Master race", Wikipedia.
Life for Africans and African Americans in Nazi-Germany was marred by sterilization, murder, discrimination, medical experimentation, incarceration etc. Hitler believed that “the Jews had brought the Negroes into the Rhineland with the clear aim of ruining the hated white race by the necessarily-resulting bastardization.” It was believed that Africans were a threat to the racial "purity" of the Germanic race.
But prior to Hitler coming to power, the Schutztruppen (German military) was responsible for the deaths of more than more than 70, 000 Africans. The first concentration camps were in Africa before the Holocaust. Herero men, women and children were worked to death between 1904-1908. The Pre and post World War 1 German society saw Africans as rapists and carriers of diseases. These racist behaviours later heavily influenced the Nazi-German policy towards Africans and African Americans in Germany. The Gestapo (German secret state police) routinely rounded up and forcibly sterilized Africans.
